1. Eligibility

• You must be 16 years or older to use Podonymous.
• Users under 18 must have permission from a legal guardian.
• By using the Service, you confirm you are legally able to enter a binding agreement.

2. Service Overview

Podonymous allows users to anonymously record and share short audio content. Approved content becomes publicly available in a categorized, searchable archive. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. User Content

• By submitting any audio content, you grant Podonymous a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license to use, publish, distribute, and display your content.
• You retain ownership of your audio, but Podonymous may use it for promotional, analytical, or archival purposes.
• You represent that:
  • Your content does not infringe any third-party rights.
  • You have obtained any necessary permissions (e.g., background music rights).
  • Your content does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Record or share content that is abusive, defamatory, harassing, illegal, hateful, or threatening.
• Share personal information of others (including names, addresses, voices without consent).
• Reverse engineer or exploit our Service in any unauthorised manner.
• Use Podonymous for commercial spam, advertisements, or unlawful activity.

Violations may result in removal of content, suspension, or banning without notice.

5. Anonymity Disclaimer

We strive to protect user anonymity, but anonymity is not guaranteed. Users must avoid including identifying information in recordings. Podonymous is not liable for unintended identity exposure.

6. Moderation & Removal

• All uploads are subject to admin approval.
• We reserve the right to remove content at our discretion, including for non-compliance with our guidelines.

7. Intellectual Property

• All trademarks, logos, and content displayed on the Site not uploaded by users are owned by Podonymous or its licensors.
• You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any Podonymous property without permission.

8. Liability Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Podonymous does not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or quality of user-generated content.
• Podonymous is not responsible for any damages (direct or indirect) resulting from your use of the platform, including data loss, identity exposure, or misuse of content.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Podonymous, its affiliates, and team members from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms.

11. Third-Party Institution Disclaimer

Podonymous is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially associated with any university or educational institution listed, referenced, or selected on the platform. Any references to universities are for user categorization purposes only. All content is user-generated and does not reflect the views or involvement of any institution.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Queensland, Australia.
